Christine Mhando is a young designer, who has launched her brand "Chichia London" since 2007.
She was born in Tanzania, has been raised in London and did the London College of Fashion. Through her work, she tries to gather her two principal influences : Africa and Europe. She uses "Khanga" for her clothes, which is a traditional East African fabric.
I love her first collection "Made in Dar", there is something very poetic, simple and at the same time "sexy".
